Recently renovated, The New Inn is a beautiful 18th-century coaching inn located in the peaceful village of Clapham, within the stunning Yorkshire Dales National Park. Built in 1745, the inn still retains many of its original features, including wooden beams and a cosy wood-burning stove. It’s full of character and charm, offering guests a warm and relaxing place to stay.
The inn is just off the A65 between Leeds and Kendal, making it a great base for exploring the Yorkshire Dales or visiting the Lake District. It’s only 6 miles from the market town of Settle and just over a mile from Clapham Rail Station. With free parking, a welcoming guests’ lounge, and lovely outdoor seating in the beer garden, there’s plenty of space to unwind.
The New Inn features a restaurant and two bars serving freshly prepared meals using local ingredients. You’ll find a wide selection of real ales, local gins, and wines to enjoy. Each en suite room includes a TV, hairdryer, and tea/coffee facilities, and a full continental breakfast is available daily.
